Interview conducted by Jessie L. Embry as part of the LDS German-Speaking Oral History Project by the Charles Redd Center for Western studies at Brigham Young University. Bastian tells about moving to Logan when she was young. She also talks about attending the Logan 10th ward and about the Swiss members of the Mormon Church who lived there. Bastian tells about the social activities in the ward and about how the Swiss Americans were viewed during World War II.
